Wonder Woman: Champion of Themyscira by Kiarou Wonder Woman: Champion of Themyscira by Kiarou
Elseworld Diana Prince
Princess Diana, born of clay and tears, she is the daughter of Queen Hippolyta. She was the first and last child ever born on the Guarded Island of Themyscria.
In ancient times the Amazonian people were a vicious race of Mercenaries and Warmongers who would often go from village to village to pillage and take the seeds of the strongest men to breed. Eventually, the Amazonians became such a threat that the gods mounted an attack against them. It was a fierce battle but to no avail. The Amazonians defeated the gods. In a last ditch effort, the gods mounted an exile plan. Poseidon provided the location, an Island in the ocean where no one would ever find them and to which they would never escape due to its natural fortress of strong currents and sea-rifts. With the help of all the gods they exiled the Amazonians to the sacred island of Theymscira.
Zeus, however, saw that they could be useful in the future and it would be problematic if they were to die on the Island. So he asked Apollo to 'stop the time of the sun' on the island and give the Amazonians eternal life for if they're brutal force were ever needed in the future.
Princess Diana was born as a pact from the gods to the Amazonians. A symbol of new life. She would be blessed with the wisdom of Athena, the courage of Artemis, the compassion and beauty of Aphrodite and the speed of Hermes himself.
Diana grew up on the island and was trained by the best. However, when the time came the gods saw to it that they needed the Amazonians help once again. They sent forth their strongest Champion, Princess Diana.
Equipped with her mother's armor she set forth into the new world as a herald to the gods and became known to the world as Wonder Woman.

Here's Wonderwoman! Kiarou version? Wrote a quick reboot summary.
I always figured that WW should be darker in skin considering she's supposed to be Mediterranean. And keep her hair tied for goodness sake! That's basic for combat. And the great debate. Pants or Panties? Why not Panties with armored pants? lol.

As for the real DC cannon,
Wonderwoman is DC's most underutilized character. Or at least she was!
The new 52 changed everything. It messed up a lot of good titles but if there's one that it improved [and there are a few] it's wonderwoman.

If you havent picked it up I recommend giving it a read. It's pretty good!

EDIT: After looking at it again, the inner thigh armor bothered me so I went ahead and edited it slightly. Hope this looks better now lol

Yikes! Interesting take on armor, though. More realistic than a bathing suit, but still more agile than tanky armor.

Yeah, it maybe sexy to watch at times, but wearing no armor or  thin tights just doesn't a good battle strategy make.

While I doubt Themiscyrans would have intergrated the square-heel boot into their combat gear, this is all kinds of badass :w00t:

HELL YES. About damn time we saw some good armor, Greek skin and a sensible hairstyle on the Greek-based warrior superheroine.

Ahhh, I agree. I really LOVE Diana, and I'm sure her new 52 series is great... but I really can't enjoy it because they made her the daughter of Zeus :\ That's ridiculously cliched, and I preferred her original origin of a mother desiring a child so much, the gods gifted her with one.

But goddamn, your version is badass! I love the way you made her armor, it's lovely! and I really love the huge axe, great choice of weapon.
